大坪一道 (KAZUMICHI OTSUBO)'s Art Works

世の中の流れから取り残されて、ゆっくりとした渦を形作っている“澱み”を、都市の隅っこあちらこちらで見つけてしまいます。
その“澱み”に絡め捕られ忘れ去られた欠片が次第に朽ち果てていく過程の中で、熱を発しながら極彩色の光を放つのを感じます。
発熱し光を放つ“残り滓”。
私たちの心の内深く煮え滾る何かが、その“残り滓”に反応し激しい化学反応を繰り返していて、その化学反応からもまた光が放たれているのではないかと思うことがあります。
私たちは物質を見ているつもりになっているけれど、実はただ光を感じているだけ、ということを、その度に思い返します。

Here and there, in the corners of the city, we find “lees” that have been left behind by the flow of the world and are forming a slow eddy.
In the process of decay, we can feel the heat emanating from the “lees” and the emanation of light in the colors of the colors of the world.
The “remnants” that emit heat and light.
Something simmering deep inside of us reacts to this “residue” and repeats a violent chemical reaction, and I sometimes wonder if light is also emitted from that chemical reaction.
Each time I am reminded that although we think we are looking at matter, in fact we are merely sensing light.
